January is the start of a new year and the time for many festivals. Tampa, Florida, has plenty to offer with January 2022 festivals. These are some of the most popular events happening in January 2022!
January 1-7: New Year’s Day Celebration – A three-day event that includes various activities such as fireworks on New Year’s Eve, a parade on January 3, and more.
The Outback Bowl is the finale of the college football season for teams in Florida. The fifty-third edition of the bowl game was played on January 1, 2020, at Raymond James Stadium.
The game was played between Wisconsin and Auburn University.
The 2018 Outback Bowl was the first to be sponsored by Outback Steakhouse since 2003. As commentators, it was broadcast on ESPN with Joe Tessitore, Todd Blackledge, Lisa Salters, Holly Rowe, and David Pollack.
February 20-27: Gasparilla Festival – Tampa’s famous pirate festival full of music, food vendors, and much more! You can always add some Tampa dancers to your event after festivities.
